Deck Guess is married to Deb, parent to Chandler, Josh, Lauren, and Cullen master of Schnitzel (yeah, right!) and pastor of Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church in Laurinburg, NC. He dabbles in stained and fused glass. He plays tennis and Word Twist (high score 1520, but only once). He also owns golf clubs (but often wonders why). Deck Guess Photo


Beth Gunn Photo Beth Gunn is a recreation leader from Western North Carolina. She is the Associate for Youth for the Presbytery of Western North Carolina with a particular emphasis in the eld of Recreation Ministry. Beth served as the Recreation Ministry Sta person for the PCUSA Triennium 2007 and 2004 planning recreation for 5,000 high school youth with a team of 10 youth and adults. She lives in the mountains of North Carolina with her husband and two dogs. Beth’s all time favorite childhood game – Kick the Can in the street at dusk.


Neeley Rentz Lane is the Director of High School Youth Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. She has served in children, youth, and adult ministries and is pursuing a seminary education at this time! Neeley enjoys experiencing the Kingdom of God through worship and play! Rodney Norris Photo Rodney Norris graduated from Columbia Seminary in May of 2001 and accepted a call at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson, SC as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults. He is still in this same position today. Rodney loves working with youth and says he has learned a lot from them over the years. He has served on planning teams for Montreat youth conferences, including co-directing Montreat Middle School Conference. He is married to Nina and they have three wonderful children, son Corey, daughters Mary Courtney and Catherine. He enjoys spending time with his children, snow skiing, and playing golf.
