Kris Adler Photo Kris Adler is the Director of Discipleship for Children and Youth at Community Presbyterian Church in Pinehurst, NC. She has many gifts and interests that include being a master organizer, roller skater and fanatical Husker football fan. What she enjoys most is being in recreational ministry that often includes laughing until her stomach hurts!


Jon Brown is currently serving as pastor at a fascinating and diverse congregation right outside Manhattan - Old Bergen Church of Jersey City. Prior to that he served on the national staff of the Presbyterian Church as director of Mission Interpretation. He has also worked at Montreat Conference Center and at churches in Hendersonville, NC and Charleston, SC. A native of Orlando, FL, Jon enjoys finding God's hidden graces embedded in creation, art, music, culture, and every human being made in God's image. Jon Brown Photo


Carl Horton Photo Carl Horton leads the PC(U.S.A.)’s Presbyterian Peacemaking Program. He is all about nurturing and equipping God’s people as peacemakers. A lifelong Presbyterian of the Southern California variety, Carl has served on the pastoral staff of Presbyterian churches in Tarzana, California and Lincoln, Nebraska. In recent years he has been an interim pastor in several of the congregations of Mid-Kentucky Presbytery, namely Shelbyville, Springdale, Second Louisville, and First Frankfort. He served as Coordinator for Church Leader Support with the General Assembly Mission Council from 2000-2004. Recently Carl has become a backyard farmer with 4 raised beds.


Mark Montgomery Mark is a pastor, living the good life in the rocking state of Connecticut. Hailing from South Carolina, his favorite season used to be the fall. Having lived in the snowy Northeast for 10 years now, his new favorite season is summer! In every season, he likes to paint, pontificate and play. Mark Montgomery Photo


Kenneth Slifer Photo Kenneth Slifer now calls Charleston, SC home (via Arkansas, Asheville, and Louisville) and is excited to be back on the ARW board. A former church worker, Kenneth now occupies his days with medical software, but never passes an opportunity to play a fun game, laugh, or try something new. Kenneth chairs the communication committee with the goal of making sure all ARW constituents are informed and engaged with everything going on with ARW!


Michelle Thomas-Bush is associate pastor for youth and their families at Myers Park Presbyterian Church. She loves to play games until the wee hours of the morning, share stories around a table over great food, and laugh so hard that you cry! Michelle Thomas-Bush Photo


Lynn Turnage Photo Lynn Turnage is Director of Children & Family Ministries, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, NC. She loves playing games with all ages of God's children, believes that all we do should spring from worship of our gracious God, likes exploring different ways to play and to pray, loves chocolate, Montreat, anything outdoors, and any time with her girls!
